Differentiated approach to the development of methods of pathogenetic therapy of pain dysfunction of the temporomandinary joint

The issues of structural organization, function and diagnosis diseases the temporomandibular joint have long attracted attention not only morphologists, dentists, maxillofacial surgeons, but also doctors related specialties. Temporomandibular disorders are among most common non-odontogenic pain syndromes in region considered a variant musculoskeletal syndrome. Based on analysis results clinical functional studies, an algorithm for management patients with terminal dentition defects complicated by signs painful dysfunction was proposed. Therapeutic measures, depending degree joint, included following stages: occlusive splint therapy; physiotherapy treatment dynamic electroneurostimulation; prosthetic end dentition; stabilization spatial relationship jaws. Complex therapeutic measures aimed at normalizing activity dentoalveolar apparatus restoring uniform distribution occlusal load.
